Embodied Breath:
A 10-day Breathwork Facilitator Immersion
Awakening Sanctuary, Mexico |
Nov 13-22, 2026
Learn By Living
Our immersive facilitator trainings blend trauma-informed education, nervous system literacy, somatic practice, and Conscious Connected Breathwork within intimate retreat settings designed to support both personal transformation and professional excellence.
Because becoming a skilled facilitator isn't just about learning a method.
It's about embodying what you teach and holding a container that represents that.
Why an Immersion?
I miss gathering. I miss what happens when the notebooks are set down because something off-book has risen up in the space to be held, to be heard, to be seen. The moments when the collective holding is needed. I miss having the room for spontaneity. When the itinerary can be put aside for what is most needed... even if what is needed is a break. Or some fun in the sun. I love being in circle, gathering around a table and eating together. Singing around the fire. Going to bed with the sounds of the jungle. And waking up and heading to do my morning practice outside and walking past my fellow friends, reading and sipping their coffee. Those special times (maybe the only time) where all our needs are taken care of, where we can be held, let go, and receive. There is something different about immersions. About these moments in life where all is paused and we can go deep, inside ourselves and with each other. There is a freedom that exists inside an immersion that is difficult to recreate anywhere else.
Learning doesn't only happen in the classroom, but over breakfast, on a walk, during an unexpected conversation, or in the silence shared between breaths.
It is lived.
The Space
This year's immersion will be held at Awakening Sanctuary, nestled in the heart of the Mayan jungle, just 90 minutes from Cancún.
I chose this place because of how it feels.
There is a quietness here that invites you to slow down. A kind of spaciousness that gently reminds you there is nowhere else you need to be.
We'll spend our days surrounded by towering trees, practicing beneath a covered open-air shala, gathering around a communal table to share nourishing meals, and ending our evenings beside the fire under a sky full of stars.
Between sessions, you might find yourself wandering down to the cenote for a swim, reading in a hammock, or simply listening to the sounds of the jungle as life unfolds around you.
Accommodations are thoughtfully woven into the landscape, with rooms nestled amongst the trees in the Trillium and Bamboo towers, creating a sense of both privacy and connection.
Every part of Awakening Sanctuary has been designed to encourage presence, community, and a slower pace of life.
It isn't about luxury in the traditional sense.
It's about remembering how little we need to feel deeply nourished.
For ten days, this will be our home.
Throughout the immersion we'll explore:
Foundations of WelcomeOm Conscious Connected Breathwork
Trauma-informed facilitation
Nervous system literacy and regulation
Polyvagal Theory
Breath physiology and contraindications
Creating safe and ethical containers
Somatic awareness and embodied presence
One-to-one breathwork sessions
Group Facilitation skills
The art of attunement
Integration practices
Professional standards and scope of practice
Supervised facilitation and mentorship
More importantly, you'll spend ten days putting those teachings into practice.

Our Philosophy
At WelcomeOm, we believe facilitation is not something you perform.
It is a relationship.
A relationship with your own nervous system.
A relationship with your body.
A relationship with the people who trust you with their stories.
Our approach is grounded in the understanding that the safest facilitators are not those who have all the answers, but those who continue to cultivate presence, humility, curiosity, and self-awareness.
We are committed to creating learning environments that are trauma-informed, relational, ethical, and deeply human.
Because the way we teach is just as important as what we teach.
Meet your lead facilitatorI’m Jennilee
Jennilee is a compassionate and curious human who loves immersing herself in safe, healing spaces with others walking this path. With a deep love and respect for shadow work, she illuminates and reflects what needs to be seen, felt, and known within. Her personal healing journey has been a co-created collaboration of experiences, teachings, and guidance from mentors worldwide over the past 20 years. Her background includes meditation, breathwork, yoga, psychedelic-assisted therapy, reiki, and somatic therapy. Supported by a healing community, Jennilee's offerings are an extension of her work, honoring all who have walked, and continue to walk, alongside her. She has the heart of a warrior and carries a deep prayer of healing for the whole.
Meet your facilitatorI’m Megan
Megan believes that beneath every protective layer is a part of us longing to be seen with compassion. Her own healing journey has taught her that transformation isn't found by fixing ourselves, but by meeting every part of who we are with presence, honesty, and care.
As a trauma-informed Breathwork Facilitator, she creates spaces where people feel safe to slow down, listen inward, and reconnect with the wisdom already living within them. Her work is informed by training in trauma-informed breathwork, meditation, yoga, Reiki, and her ongoing studies in psychology, while her greatest teacher continues to be the lived experience of walking her own path of healing.
Megan brings a grounded, intuitive presence to every space she holds. She is passionate about helping others gently uncover what lies beneath the surface, trusting that when we feel truly seen, healing unfolds naturally. It is an honour for her to walk beside others as they remember the strength, wholeness, and belonging that have always been theirs.
